    That would raise you to 87.3 octane in a full tank. Just use 87 and stay out of boost. The fd stays in the garage and I'm driving the Montero until this gets figured out.

    Have you modded the Montero since you got it?

    Just a brush guard and maintenence. It gets about the same mpg as my fd but I can do it on 87.

    my dub will run but really bad on 87... i did that once before on my 1.8t - it sputtered like crazy and idled really bad. both my dub/benz req 91+

    should of waited and got TDI

    Really? I've got a 2.0T A4 which also requires 91+, but I can't find any, so I've had to use 87. And so far, I've had no noticeable difference than using 93 all the time.
