    Latest update:

Last night, Leisa responded to our conversation....(don't yall wish yall knew what she and I talked about..... ). So much so, that she had to be sedated a little to bring her heart beat, which went from 98 to 108, back down and make her relax. We're taking that as a "good" sign. She had a little swelling on her brain, which was some cause of concern, but they started medication to control that right away. By the time we left, it was back down to the acceptable level. Again, "good" news.

This morning, situation was relatively unchanged, which again is better than the alternative. They did discover a slightly elevated level of something in her kidneys, but the results of that will not be in until later this afternoon. I don't think this is cause to be alarmed right now either, but we'll know for sure when the results come in later today.

She is relaxed and still responding to certain people. Brett is continuing his bedside vigil and will be there all weekend long. Anyone wanting to visit with him is welcomed to. Please make note of the visiting hours and gauge accordingly.

Prayers are STILL NEEDED, so let's keep that going. Financial help is STILL NEEDED, so keep that coming too. Overall support has been fantastic, so KEEP THAT COMING TOO.

    I'll keep everyone updated.

    PRAYERS, PRAYERS, PRAYERS.
