Here is what the latest updates are on the 2 pipelines that supply GA with gas... Good news for sure...
The problem started when Hurricane Katrina knocked out power to two pipelines -- the Colonial Pipeline and the Plantation Pipeline -- that feed fuel to Georgia. Colonial announced Thursday that it is now operating at about 40 percent capacity and expected to increase that to 61 percent by day's end.
The pumps are expected to be at about 74 percent capacity by Sunday.
At last report, Pipeline had fuel running at 25 percent capacity. Both expect to be back to normal by next week.
