I spend 100.00 a day on diesel for my Dodge. I went and bought 2 metal 55 gal drums and filled them and my truck up. 550.00 for all of it but I wont have to fill up for another week. I'd rather pay 4.50 a gallon today then 5.00-6.00 tomorrow for diesel. Sucks but oh well. I could be sneaky and put off road diesel in the barrels but I dont wanna get busted. haha

This isnt going to stay like this. One week maybe two. Its not price gouging there not "making" anymore gas so the value of it climbs. Gas did hit a all time low but becasue they shut off the refinery (so we dont lose millions of gallons of gas in the storm) theres not much for the gas stations to buy thus making the price go up. No need to freak out it will be back down soon.

wish we could get this info out to the masses tho....

Its called speculation, and fear. You all are falling for it. thats why prices are spiking. People are getting scared so they are rushing to fill up their tanks in fear that there will be no more gasoline after this week! Thats whats causing your prices to skyrocket. I filled up @ 3.49 on monday. still have 3/4ths of a tank left. im in no rush to get any gas. probably will go back down before i need another tank

its not just that people are buying gas now before it gets too expensive. save money now while gas is cheap so in a week or two when it goses down they wont have to pay the higher prices.
