All of these are taken out of context. That's not to say they shouldn't be taken seriously, it's just to say that some people edit to suit their interest and before you come to a conclusion based on this maybe you should read his book in it's entirety. It's completely understandable for him to write about his upbringing and his feelings of being multi-racial. It doesn't make him a racist. He is also welcome, according the Constitution of the US, to practice any religion he wishes. It really doesn't matter to me that he is a Muslim. That's his right as a US citizen. It would be like you writing a book telling your story about how you were molested by a priest and how you felt about it and then having someone go through and pick and choose and edit what they wanted to spread around to fit their agenda. They may make it look like you hate all of the Catholic church because you had an excerpt talking about how you hated men in the church at that point in your life due to your experiences. It's called "spinning" the story. I know because I have had it happen to me. People take what you say completely out of context and make you look bad.
There is also this law in the US called the "One-drop rule". If you have any trace of black heritage, even one drop, you are considered black. How hard do you think it is to be multi-racial when you have laws such as the "one drop rule"? He was born that way, he didn't choose to be mixed. It's the rest of the people in the world who are not "mixed" that make being mixed an issue. My nephew is mixed and he would never know the difference if he didn't go to school. We never taught him that he was any different. His school mates did, however. Just something to think about.

naacp set up a site to help register unregistered voters a few months ago, at the corner of Montpelier and Pio Nono in Macon, which for those of you who dont know is situated in a high crime, 99% black populated, area in macon. this intersection is not only in the ghetto, as youd call it, but it is lies right smack in between several housing authority communities and the macon mall....montpelier is used as a cut through for the majority of these people walking/riding to the mall, there is also a macon transit authority stop right on the corner where they were, filtering them in as they get off the bus, and they advertised for the open session registering on one station in macon....97.9 WIBB, a hiphop/r&b station....
they claim its to help get more people registered, and thats what they care about......i failed to see any of these voting places in north/east macon, where the residents are primarily white......but hey, its not about race, theres a vet on the card too, right?

i took a sociology course in college, and we had to research "sex education in schools." based on the information i found "abstinence only sex education" is what stimulates teenage pregnancy. do some research on The Netherlands (which has the lowest teenage pregnancy rate in the world) and their sex education courses. the bottom line...Palin's stance on sex education IS WRONG and her daughter proved it. we all know she's supposed to represent "women," and she's doing a terrible job at it. people are already b/tching about "government assistance." well hell...what effect is having a woman who populates like a rabbit, and who's child is headed down the same path going to have on the country, and young women who may end up looking up to her???

What about the 5 or more e-mail forwards that I'm sure everyone else is getting too that are filled with false information about how Obama is a Muslim (he's not) and giving false/unsupported information about his background.
