I agree. Just playing a toned down devil's advocate.

Also that she fellates guns every night. This oughta rally the base.

Sorry, that trumps a couple of years of managing a state with 700k people. Shirley Franklin manages more than that on a day to day basis

As a useless side note, I don't know anyone who's so much enthusiastic about democrats as they are appalled by republitards. Democrats don't even have to be good to be better than the fantasy world sh*theadedness promoted by republicans.

x2. Idc what anyone says, Mcan't sealed his fate by his choice for VP.
Singularly chosing a woman for your vp will not net you the female votes that he might have gotten from the disgruntled soccer moms who were thinking about not voting for Obama. Seems to me like the logic that went into his decision would be an insult to the intelligence of the average american female.

Yea but she doesn't do a very good job of it LOL. Its kind of a moot point.

Tony, I usually agree with you on most things, but to say that one of Obama's qualifications to "run things" is based on overseeing the Harvard Law Review, well that seems fairly useless. So he was the president of a law journal, what does that have to do with what redgt calls Executive Experience?

He asked what he has run, I responded. People act like Obama came straight out of college and ran for president, when really.. Palins story isn't far off from that.

To say her executive experience in Alaska qualifies her any more than Obama is plain stupid. Alaska is very different from the other states, like I said Shirley Franklin is more qualified than Palin based off of population and time served in office.

Furthermore if executive experience is the bar then she trumps her running mate as well.. why not put her at the top of the ticket?

The Harvard Law Review with all due respect really doesn't constitute an argument as to executive experience in government.

The Harvard Law Review is a student-run organization whose primary purpose is to publish a journal of legal scholarship

we are talking in circles now b/c some people on here don't understand what being a LAWYER has to do w/ politics... RedGT and others think having years practicing and teaching CONSTITUTIONAL LAW is worthless compared to someone who has ran a state w/ the population smaller then Gwinnett County. furthermore they obviously think a city council member of a city with a population 1/5 the size of importatlanta has the credentials to run the country.

i would love to know what major you have in college RedGT - i think i read you plan on making 500,000$ a year within 7 years of graduating college... explain?

just as long as he is reading off a teleprompter. Take that away and he talks like a bumbling idiot. And if he is asked a tough question he dodges by saying its "above my paygrade".

I think his advisors forgot to tell him that if he is elected there isnt anyone above his paygrade.

    PRICELESS \/

As for the prospect of her being vice president, Palin told Kudlow that she could not answer the question of whether she wanted the job “until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day. I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here.”
you have to be kidding me - i don't know whats better you republican supporters defending McCains choice to pick someone who doesn't even know what she has signed up for or McCain to pick such a lousy VP?
