Exactly. I've been flashed before and I was definitely not motivated to move after that. When that happens, I won't move just to be a prick.
I flashed as i approched, and flashed only once. I had to wait for him to move because it was not safe for me to go arround. there was a car that I would have had to cut off to do that. So I waited because i didnt want to cause a wreck.

If someone flashes me their high beams while hauling ass toward my rear bumper, I usually slow down and stay in their way as long as possible. That **** pisses me off. Its not my job to get out of the way when you're driving like an *******. Douchebags in Evos and boosted civics do this to me all the time. Its usually followed by a look or a middle finger, much like you described. That just makes me want to follow them home and **** in their hallway.

I was heading north bound I-85 in South Carolina, between Exits 27 and 35. Me (silver Evo) and this white BMW (M3? IDK I wasnt behind him) and I are driving spiritedly. Nothing stupid but speeding none the less. Well, as we come up on traffic, we of course slow down, I come up behing a Black WRX (none STI and looked stock) As I approch, I flash the high beams, a universal signal that says, "hey! you are slower, please move over!" Well he doesnt.
Now I am about 2-3 car lengths off him, the BMW is about the same off me and we are in the far left lane doing aprox 70 MPH. The JACK ASS slams his brakes on. Instead of being polite and moving over (enough room for him at his speed, not for me and the BMW to go arround him tho) And right after doing that, he finally moves over into the center lane. Obviously at this point I am upset, and I give the unfriendly finger and a scowling look.And the douche flicks me off and I see he is cussing me out. WTF, I didnt do anything wrong, ya know?!
So if the guy is on here, I would like to say, "My car is faster and better.
I am done ranting.

Wow, I just glazed over the whole thread reading bits and pieces. I think I'm the only one that would have just gotten over and let him by.
^^For real! If someone is running faster than me on the highway I get over and let them by usually before they're on my bumper. I would expect the same if I was the one running faster. The problem is no one shows any respect or courtesy for anyone else on the road now days.

LOL, backfire. While I do agree that I would have moved over (if it was in fact convenient and I wouldn't have had to slow down), I certainly wouldn't have the instant you flashed your highs.

^^I disagree, its different if you're in the far left lane and you move over. If im driving in the far left lane, and i have a car on my bumper i move to the next right lane. But if im in the middle lanes i sure am not gonna move any where to let some skreet racer get by.

That's what I meant. If I'm in the far left lane, I get over. If I'm in any other lane, then they have the option to pass me on either side, and I won't get over in that case.

I didnt flash repeatedly, flashed 1 time. I also didnt flash until I saw that he was not going to make any attempt in changing lanes.
I was not street racing, I was driving faster than posted speed limits, I already admitted that.
I did not fly up on his bumper, I closed in until I was 3-4 lengths off, never "tailgating" him.
I was in the far left lane, car in the middle next to me, and I left out that there was one behind me too.
I was joking about the "better, faster car" part. That is why it was followed by "hahaha" or what ever.
