    Default So who else has done the online dating thing? lol

    I got a buddy from work, he served 4 tours in Iraq, hes a huge marine. He could walk in any bar and get a chick, hes quite a badass. However, all he does is do the online dating thing and scores a **** ton of ass.

    Who else does it? Im seriously debating saying **** it, all the women I meet are lame as fawk lately.

    Ive met 3 via myspace... 2 were whatever. Didnt go farther than a second date. The other is possably the most amazing girl Ive ever met...

    If people continue to seek a relationship through cyber space, eventually you'll become that person you personally created and have false sense of place. Especially if your only source to 'getting' some is through the internet. Your original 'game' will slowly disappear. I'll admit, I tried it a few times and they turned out ok, but the real thrill in anybody should be going out and achieving it, first hand. Thus improving your confidence so you'll be ready for future experiences/events.

    ETA: Also, the continuous use of online dating could later create a high sense of insecurity. Due to the fact that you're constantly having to use the internet for help/guidance. When faced with a real women in a real life situation, you won't have your notes in your face for assistance. How would someone react in that situation, then?

    Very true. I'm willing to bet pretty much everyone who fills out their E-Harmony profile will do as much as they can to make themselves look good. The true test is trying to be successful with others in real life situations where true personality is tested.

    If I ever hit a drought, I pluck a ho off of myspace and go about my business.
    There's no shame in having online game.

    Shyt, sometimes it's easier to meet a chick off the interwebs instead of having to go through the process of getting ready to go out to a bar or club and spend money.

    I am seriously debating trying the pay by month thing. I thought it was BS, but Pat, god damn that guy pulls a new one every night for himself. Its funny as ****.     Exactly....There's no shame in using the online thing to supplement meeting chicks out and about, and seriously in this day and age, one would be hard pressed to find someone who hasn't met a person from the internet. Most people socialise more over the internet and through texts than they do through physical contact and interaction so it's definitely a convenient thing.

    Sh!t.... my boy hits it everytime.... at first i thiught it was just some sweet azz luck, but it did not fly after he done it like 20 times.... now, well what can i say...here is his story...
    he sits at home, checks profiles, meets, chats, then off to the Gym... then eats lunch, gets back online... lines up some azz, hits it, then out for ride, maybe eat dinner, then back online.... then, here is the good part....... his girl, who he met online, comes home from working at the strip club.. ...hands him about $1000 a night, then they crash... thats right he is i guess, a pimp.. he keeps them in shape, they strip, they give him the money, about every 300,000. he gets a new girl.. then it starts all over again. (notice i did not mention him going to work) he don't..hahahaha

    I was ify about it at first. But now, I have been thru quite a few from online and trust me, there were some krazies out there (worse than anyone on IA ) and now I think I have found the most wonderfully perfect girl for me.

    Well I haven't done the whole Online Dating thing like E-Harmony or anything, Met a few on Myspace...... The girl I'm talking to now, I sent her a friend request because I thought she was somone else and when she accepted my request I went and looked at her pictures and realized it wasn't the girl I thought it was, but we started talking. And thats how I met her.

    That crap works, damn, wish it was that simple in my day. I may be single again here soon, kinda rusty, lol. I can still get women in "real life," but would be interesting. I do not have a myspace or anything like that, yeah I am behind the times. The wifey has been good to me, but we are separating. I am a fit Airborne Army guy, lol. I won't have any issues.....
