    Default For Ruiner....

“edo competition” & KW suspension established a new lap record on the prestigious Nuerburgrung race track .
Last Thursday driver Patrick Simon of the edo competition group topped it all. The Donkervoorts spectacular record was broken after less than one year. With a 7.15.63 lap, Simon brought more than just a new minimum time to the Nordschleife.

The video is definately bad ass. I missed it to begin with and just read the article and looked at the pics. It looks like he could have run a bit faster if he hadn't had to deal with so much traffic. Most didn't slow him down but a few seemed to cause him to slow a bit before getting by them. Good find kidd. Now get the fuck back to work!

Stupid question, But what kind of people are they letting on the track while he was out there, a few of the cars were stock type cars and one guy was on a sport bike but one looked like a moped or something, Do people get to just take thir cars out there to drive on it ( And even when tests like what the porsche was doing ) is going on?

Part of that track is open to the public...it's like 15 Euros ($18+ USD) to run the north loop, per person.

....or $366.00 for 25 laps, $190.00 for 12, etc. I think they give you a card and you just swipe it and go or little over $900.00 for a yearly pass.

BUT i'm pretty sure normal traffic laws apply when open to the public.

It's my favorite track on GT4 because everyone else hates it ...i've run low 7 minutes with the JGTC NSX

Autobahn rules... NEVER pass on right, Speed limit is like at a suggested 100 Kph,you geta tricket if you stop and dont put out a warning triangle, and also if you have to stop bc you ran out of gas. You never see the Polizei while on there but if you stop they will be there in less then 5 mins..Happened to a friend, his tire blew out and gota ticket bc the tread was bad. Where there is a End of Restriction sign speed is as much as w/e.. but DAYUM i really need geta day off to go over to that track, its no more then 2 hours from me. I called up the other day but all they had was the "oldy" cars out there racing.

PS if anyone seriously wants to come over i got a room for ya, and a lil American Haven for you to relax in, once the German culture pisses you off for a sec.
