    there are plenty of reliable cars to be had for under 10k.

    3 99 TL's in my extended family, 1 03 TL, 4 04-08TL's, 1 96TL, not a single one has ever had a tranny problem. It was hit or miss, if they ****ed up, it was likely fixed already.
