You got a deal Sir. :cheers:Quote:

I did not post up a pic of the red car to "brag" about it, or to make it look like a show quality car. That pic is unretouched, and I just put it up so that it was a more fair judgement, seeing as the only photos people had seen of it were from 1/2 an inch a way. And as far as that car goes, you signed an invoice for it when you picked it up. Rememeber? I'm sorry if you didn't read what you signed, but that invoice said the work was done to your satisfaction. It's not my fault that you either didn't read what you signed, or didn't inspect the car fully upon delivery. Patrick agreed to buff it again and get a little more shine out of it, which is more than he should have done, but he did anyways.
If you want to mince words with Patrick about how the color was picked on the blue car, feel free to call him. You have his number. It's easy to be a keyboard commando when the situation appears to be in your favor, since I know that nothing I will ever say or do will make this disappear. All I can do is move on and concentrate on the other cars we have in the shop, which is exactly what I'm doing. Like I said, we offered you options, you can take them or leave them. The red car is a done deal, the blue one you do have options on.
We've done other work and have had no complaints, and upon realizing that this was going to be an issue, we started offering alternative lines of solution. That's the best we can do.

5: Evidence? Geez you are hyped.
6: Civil/professional people don't tell customers they are through with them.
7: Being dealt cards wrong? I let this die the day I got home. Never said anything else and was letting it slide in hopes that they may recover. Then this week I get told by several people along with pictures and PM's copied from her that they are telling everyone that the red car was shiny and great looking when I picked it up. I guess I should just sit here and let this picture of the car (she posted way before this thread started) be the sound proof that I have lost my freaking mind and don't know what a paint job should look like? Would you sit back after all this crap happened and then get bashed about ignorance? I think not.
Since you know so much about them and have never heard any complaints from their shop can you tell me how long they have been in business? How many cars they have painted together in the last 6 months? How many customers they have had that are happy with their paint work?
Help me out here. Maybe my cars were just a fluke? Maybe Rockstar has painted thousands of show cars and I should let them re-do mine. Heck prove to me that they do great work and I will give in and even pay for the paint. :goodjob:
P.S. Your not doing so well in their defense so far :lmfao:

so yea, i dont know the whole situation. but no one in this thread sat down and ligitimately issued a Formal complaint.
so to me, it really comes off as a bunch of heresay bull s***.
pictures say a thousand words, yes, but a thousand words can explain a situation better than a picture and a bunch of c*** sucking followers talking crap.
so dont be lazy, type out exactly what happened, truthfully, every interaction, every word if at all possible, and then post the shiz up here.
i had a complaint about a "buisness man" in the past month, i said everything that was said the night of the complaint, and wrote it all down, and guess what. you know what kind of responces i got from that person? nothing. just him calling me names. he had nothing to say to what i said because it was all truth. exactly how it unfolded.
um. okay i cant tell if youre being a **** to me in this thread. or if youre kidding. cuz you act different on 240atlanta.Quote:

well no what im saying is that if there was nothign left to be said. nothing else would have been said...
so you didnt completely explain everything...
Emily he signed because he was told that there was nothing else going to be done. i dont blame him for coming to get it. Just use this as a lesson learned.
Did you or did you not tell me that you were going to color match it with the huge sample that you peeled off the side of the door?Quote:

We did inspect the car and that's when you apologized repeatedly for it being so crappy. Remember? You said that you really needed to have a talk with Patrick because the quality was not what he promised. That was also the 2nd trip which was after the invoice was signed. Remember that? Why because you told me that it was a receipt and I trusted you. Yeah I know, stupid me.
Ha Ha you know as well as I do that buffing ain't gonna fix that car. Good excuse but no help at all.
Keyboard commando? Nah I'm fine and I don't remember threatening anyone? Hm where does the Commando part fall in at?
What were the options again? Oh I remember now... Come get my crap and we are through with your junk. Man awesome options! Thanks a ton. You should do very well in life with your fine print and so much trust.
Man I love how you do business. Now everyone knows just by what you said that if they don't read your fine print they will get a shaft up their azz. Totally awesome professionalism!
well i think that bugman should make a new thread, with literally everything lined up exaclty how it happened.
if you want a refrence. hahaha look at me and wes's thread about umm said "buisness man"

If that car came out of my shop, I wouldn't give a tinkers damn if the customer signed that agreement or not. I would not let anything of that quality leave. He shouldn't have to look over the car, your WORD should be plenty, and it apparently was not.Quote:

If he was not happy with the job, then he should not have signed, pointed out things that he was not happy with, and there would have been no problem at all... no hard feelings. But he DID sign, and I was very careful in the way that I worded the invoice, so it is simple and to the point. And he signed saying that the work was done to his specification (which was painting the car) and that the work was done to his satisfaction. We were not rushing him or anything when he came to pick it up, and it was broad daylight and the car was outside. He had all the opportunity in the world to inspect the car. As a business, it's not our problem that he didn't, but we worked on the car AFTER he signed it as a gesture of goodwill, and he took it and threw it right back in our faces.Quote:
