Crossing the plain of racial normalcy into something DIFFERENT, is never a bad thing imo. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If ppl stopped for a second and started caring less about how ppl act, what they wear, what they eat, how they talk, who they are seen with, that music they enjoy, where they are from etc....the world would be a much more tolerable place

To say there are blacks that "act white" is plain dumb, people are a product of their environment. I grew up in Alaska around a lot of whites, listen to alternative, speak proper english.. am I trying to be white or did I just have an upbringing that is rarely afforded to blacks? There is no set trend for races, you take a black guy from Germany and I guarantee he acts completely different than what is stereotypical, its the people who hold on to those stereotypes that are ignorant.

Also on the smelly dog thing lol all I can say is me and a cousin used to always joke on that, of course nobody will come in here and state "yeah we smell like dogs" but honestly.. my opinion falls in line with Brian's, sorry.

And on Barack, I've stated this time and time again. If the democratic party garners 90% of the black vote in presidential elections, what is the damn difference when Barack (the democratic candidate) gets the same percentage of the black vote? Are they voting for him because he's black or thats how blacks usually vote? Something to think about.

My only issue is his argument is that white people are acting black when they're trying to be thuggish. Just because he's too simple to see past what the media has sat in front of him as the typical black male doesn't mean that blacks are typically ignorant thugs.

Blacks have been scholars just as long as whites, W.E.B Dubois, MLK, Frederick Douglass, Booker T. Washington, Cornell West, Langston Hughes, and the list goes on. Just because someone doesn't have the mental capacity to realize that black culture extends much further than what you see in the hood only proves my point that the ignorance lies with those who hold to the stereotypes.

Agreed 100% could carless on what ever else you said, cuz... well i really could care less about the way some one smells as long as when i say "get out of my face you stink" they do it.

I am white, as white as they get other than the blond hair blue eyes. (dark brown almost black strait thick as **** hair, and Hazel almost green eyes, IF YOU HAD TO KNOW), I am some what dateing a "mix" girl, (father black, mother white german) she pretty much listens to grung, ya know deftones, and **** like that. so it is all about were you grow up and your own personal tasts.

one more note.

my mom hates the fact im dateing her, but not as much when she found out i was dateing a jewish girl... o.0
