I have no intention of getting too involved into this, and i should mention i have no affiliation with the shop other than the fact that pat did some body work for me (which many IA members have seen and can vouch for the quality ). Emily's a friend of mine, but I have no affiliation with the business whatsoever. I was waiting until she posted to chime in.

She's frustrated about it too, and a number of the variables were out of her control. She knows its not pretty just as well as all of us do, and shes not happy about it either. BUT theres no reason for this thread to turn into a personal bashing like it has, especially not towards a person who isn't even directly responsible for the paint. As a matter of fact, it looks like a lot of the issue here is with Pat anyways, is that right Chris? As for people saying Emily shouldnt let the cars leave her shop, etc etc - its Pat's shop too, and it seems he has a bit more involvement in this particular issue than she does.

There's no question that this is a big bump in the road and a wake up call for a new business, but I know personally that Emily is gonna do everything in her power and within reason to try and make things right. Believe me, if anyone is wary about the scenario, its me - as a customer, believe me when I say Im keeping an eye on the scenario and the improving quality of work over time.

The bottom line is, though, shes right - its between her, pat, and chris. There are a lot of parties in here that have NOTHING to do with it and who don't know anywhere near all the details. Furthermore, there are a lot of details that arent out in the open, and frankly theres no reason that they should be. Things will work out, and if theres more to be said later, Chris or Emily should be the ones to say it.

Well as u can tell i never bashed any 1 point blank considering i had no idea who did it.BUt it didnt's matter to me who did it.I have stated in the 1st post i made that to do yourself a favor and don't post up in the thread just PM me.simple as that i was going to tell the person responsible simply how i felt there shop performed on my dads car.I am not the 1 that pointed fingers nore did i say names. But as u can tell the public speaks out and then names etc where thrown in.I don't care what happens with the shop from here on out but 1 thing i do no.. That if they want business there going to do better work simple as that and if u gonna do a job like that atleast clean the car before letting it leave. It would of took mabye a 1 hr to clean the white spots that was on it off and clean the damn rims that had over spray on them and of course the trim I mean i no a member on here that told another member they could port and polish there head on there honda, lol!! yep the head might have not been (PP) but atleast it when he told the kid to come pick it up it was done. the kid picked up 1 clean ass head even thoe the guy didn't (PP) like he said he did BAD FOR BUSINESS AND FOR PPL U CALL YOUR FRIENDS.......

On the bright side atleast i am done with this thread and will let the grown ppl do work...I love every 1 BUT carma is a bit** and
I check sluts off my list like a maintnence man
I drive a low is3 just so it gives me a reason to drive super slow on these rough ga roads.

This is quite hypocritical that you say this. If this is none of our business and we don't need to concern ourselves with it, then why would the OP even make this thread? Is the OP really Bugman, Emily or Pat? The OP put this on an open, public forum for all to see. If this was no one else business, this should never have been posted. There are details that aren't "in the open?" If we shouldn't be in on this, then NONE of the details should be out "in the open." Am I right? So you should really tell the OP to not instigate and start posts that doesn't involve him/her either. Seems to me that THAT would be the bottom line. Later, QD.

Hm actually the original deal was made with her and I never spoke to Pat until we were about ready to paint. They stopped by here to look at a few of the cars that needed a coat of paint (18 I think).

I have no issues with anyone and the variables/details really don't matter. The bottom line is still the bottom line which is I am out a small chunk of change with 2 cars that need painting.

There was a huge and continual miscommunication problem but it was not between me and them by any means but between them. I don't mind at all discussing that also if need be.

I hate posting on here but I can't not defend what your saying in my direction.

She is the one that met us there to pick up the red car and we went over all the goof ups on it. They told me the first time that I picked it up that they were probably going to have to re-spray it and we agreed but that didn't happen either.

The blue car same thing but both of them tried to convince us and several others that the color was one shade or less from the original color and it is far far from it. Regardless of the color the paint job is hideous so even if it was pink it wouldn't matter.

I am not on here to bash either but when something is said in my direction I will reply in defense with the facts. I like Emily a lot and really hope this thing takes off for her but I don't see it happening the way it is going now.
