Why on earth do you care so much if your friend doesn't care enough to give you the name of the company / person or call them up himself...

Maybe he didn't want to be in the middle of something that can't/won't be fixed.

He obviously isn't too concerned with the paint job

Maybe the calls have been made.

Maybe the painter told him that they were through in business since the Smurf car was refused payment.

Ever gone 15+ miles down a dead end road? It sucks but you still have to go all the way back and take a different route. Bitching about it until your blue in the face will not make that 15 miles and shorter.

He told me repeatedly that these 2 blues were only one shade off. He even took it to the paint dealer and they color matched the dark blue and they told him it was less than one shade off. C'mon man I am so tired of arguing useless arguments that I just eat the cost and have it done by someone who cares a little more.

Here is a good example that I clipped from the hood in the first of this post and put side by side. Now tell me you are gonna spend hours arguing that these 2 blues are less than one shade difference?

Sorry I don't have time for it and tired of the B.S..

I tried to help a friend out and it backfired as usual. I am over it and moving along just fine.
