ATTN: Anyone with military experience

Anyone have any experience with such a decision, whether it be you, family, or a friend?

Thanks in advance to all who can open some thoughts.

When i had to decide i chose east coast, wound up at Langley AFB in the 27th Fighter Squadron 1FW, which was only 11 hours away from home. A lot of my friends chose Japan, and wound up regretting it.

The Sgt. gave you good advice . Coming home on occasion just because you have the weekend off is worth more than having a "good" time in a strange place where you're just "another one of those guys in the military."
