For real, Why in the hell is there so much hating on this site. My friend doesnt have the money for a paint job so he sprays it black and red, actually looks pretty clean, but he catches an ungodly amount of hell about it. I defend him and get neg repped by a mexican, a mexican's gay brother, and some b!tch that didnt even post in the thread. My friend did the best he could and yet people hate on his car like hell. Some people dont have that kind of money to drop in cars, he spend his money on suspension and body, sorry thats more important than paint. I thought IA was a site about car appreciation, not to spend the whole time hating on other people's cars, How about offering helpful advice, and appreciating the effort people are putting in their cars? Thats all for tonite, sorry to ramble.

that is the beauty of an online forum, it doesnt matter who you are, if you dont like something you can say what you want. but what i have come to see is that when you start defending things that ppl dont like, it just fuels the fire. like when ppl said that looks like ****, you shouldnt get mad at them that just sparks up the beginning of all the bs that is involved in it. just let them say what they want and let that **** go. not everyone is nice, but not everyone is an *******. but you have to realize that most ppl wouldnt paint THEIR car with a spray can, regardless of how good it comes out there will always be ppl who say "WTF were you thinking" and **** like that. that is just the nature of alot of ppl. just dont get pissed about it and things wont turn the way they did in that thread in the matter of an hour. But its his car, and he has to drive it so who cares what others think. also its an online forum, so ppl can say whatever the hell they want to bc they know they can and you could do the same to something that you dont like or think is dumb

I just take the time to appreciate effort, he could have left it how it was( it was baaaad). DD's can be fast too. Evan is pretty good w the spray. Actually spraying mine soon. Mine is flat black and we are spraying it with a glossy black. We see this as a temporary fix until we can afford paint, but I have more important things to fix than the paint. Aslong as it lookds decent I'm happy

if you do alot of thin coats and wetsand after and then clearcoat it and wetsand again it will look decent. just spraying "gloss black" is gonna look hazy and it will look like a rattle can job.

see if i HAD to go that route, i would just primer it. it doesnt look that bad, but still just talk to someone on here, i mean sprayglo had a special for like 500 a couple months back and i paid a little more then that, and for the price the paint job is hella good. but if i do it again, im going to spend alot more so it will be even better. i just think that even if my cars paint looked like ass i wouldnt spray it, maybe primer, but not a coat of paint and then clear, just more work to do in the long run when it comes to a ligit paint job

Because they put effort in the wrong places. Bone stock, no. It has visual mods. I just want a clean looking daily driver out of it and that's what i have. You want something fast but you don't have that. I know some of you think your civics are racecars and that's cool. Do your thing. I just don't understand how you could call my car a pos seeing what you drive. I don't think your car is a pos, but i know if mine is yours is as well.

the fact that the car was actually RACED qualifies it as a race car... and that car was actually VERY fast for autoX, and could have been a competitive IT car if it had a cage.

now ive never seen your jetta so im not saying anything about it, but some of the things you use as points to argue with are about halfway between here and stupid.

see he is a pretty cool guy on here for the most part, but it was the OP fault that it blew up like that, and like i already stated it just fueled the fire, if he would have not started with the calling out that all hondas are sh1t, then that wouldnt have happened. but he wasnt the only one bashing, he was just the one that took it over the edge. i agree that he went a little too far with it, but its whatever, there are always a few threads like that that will pop up and spark a bunch of BS over nothing, but for the most part ppl speak their minds whether it be good or bad, which is really the way it should be. see im on a couple accord forums, and if you say ANYTHING negative you get your post deleted and a warning for some BS, and i HATE that. its a public forum, so ppl should be able to say what they want, which is what i like about IA whether it be good or bad, you get ppls real opinions not there "fake" opinions. which is basically what your trying to get when you post things like pics of your car.

looked at that car and it looks like garbage. I don't generally like 2 tone to begin with and on a civic in rattle can form it looks even worse. I'm sorry but I'm kinda the type that if your going to do something do it right the first time. And that is just plain out wrong.
