Does anyone even care anymore? I mean, really?
"Man gets stabbed 150 times and dies."
Don't care.
"14yr old girl gets raped and can't afford abortion."
Don't care.
"Son shoots father and flees to Guatemala."
Don't care.
Unless it's something that happens to me personally or to someone close to me, I really couldn't give two sh*ts. I'm well aware that there are sh*tty people out there that do bad things. It's the world we live in. I don't really care to know about some stupid sh*t that happened in Wisconsin when some college sophmore went apesh*t over his girlfriend cheating on him. Unless it's some epic sh*t about a hardcore serial killer with a body count north of 50 that's still on the loose in our local area, you can probably keep the news to yourself.
Anyone else feel the same way?
