The VXR8 has what, 100 more hp and managed to beat a 350z by 1.8 seconds on an almost 2 mi track. Can we honestly make an educated guess that it was the VXR8's handling that beat the 350Z given the facts? I would say no. There's just too many other variables involved to use overall results (track time) to compare a single component of a car's performance (handling, power, driver, etc.). All we can say is that one that day, given the circumstances, the VXR8 was faster than the 350Z.
