And who cares about your academics? The school is still lame as hell. Have you been to a weekend night at tech? ITS HORRIBLE... Its like 20% girls and the ones there are hideous.

Schools like UNC, Texas, or Vanderbilt or just as good with academics and have way more gorgeous girls and a fun party scene. Not to mention especially in Texas's case and UNC are "competitive" in all D-1 Sports.

On top of that its possible to be smart and cool, 50% of the kids i saw at Tech were World of Warcraft junkies. I don't know if you saw the signs posted up at the UGA v. GA Tech game but it said the likes of "give me your lunch money" and "GA Tech loves World of Warcraft"... i think the jokes have some factual basis.



Oh and for sports... I believe UGA won the sugar bowl last year, got to the finals in the college world series, won the SEC in both basketball and baseball, Got to the big dance and give Xavier a run for the money and almost beat them, Were ranked #1 consistently throughout the Golf Season until finishing 3rd or 4th with a not up to par (no pun intended) showing at nationals, and winning Gymanstics, equestrian, and tennis as NCAA Champs.

The basketball is not good, that was a fluke last year i will give you that, GA Tech of recent is nothing to brag about either.

Gymnastics... 4 years in a row NCAA Champions.

Tennis... They have been the top contender every single year with Yale for the past 3 or more decades now.

Golf... they are the exact same way as Tennis, UGA has one of the best programs in the country it is not a fluke, They have kids who go and compete in the PGA tour all the time. I remember seeing on ESPN that a guy named Bubba came out 3rd overall in a big PGA tournament.


UGA consistently also ranks as one of the top 10 college sports programs overall for the past few years, and has won 30+ national titles


And as for midtown being there??? Downtown Atlanta is a whole different animal these days, midtown is very fruity, and Buckhead is still pretty nice though. But its for like mid twenty, late twenty singles. Any kid at Georgia Tech i can assure you would not fit in that environment. All of my friends at Tech have never once mentioned going into the clubbing scene down there, maybe a bar or two that might be designated as a college bar right next to campus but thats it.





And i'm not doubting you found good times at tech, i'm just saying raise your standards.

My roommate at USC had a 4.0 and was a triathalete whos dad went to UGA Law School and had logged 100+ hours of community service. He didn't get in, so if you want to call me dumb, realize that it is harder to get into UGA now. I didn't try nearly as hard as i should have in highschool.

And in college i have a 3.7 which is well in the median of the 25-75% if not over it for those schools and i have a lot of alumni connections through school and highschool friends and employers. And how do you know that all i care about is partying??? have you met me??? I didn't think so, get off your high horse. Lets not worry about me or my future, the problem is that you have no respect.


And i don't have to be in my 40's or 50's to know a little history of Atlanta, midtown is for the most part very gay except for the ocassional show that comes through. Pretty much all of the surroundign area of Tech is not meant for college students at all, anyone will tell you that.
