That car was the truth back then, that WILD Stuff was really the thing to do.
That was shortly after my last show "Team Street Legal" ALABAMA DRAGWAY... you know....when his hood flew off LOL.
p.s - you talked my girl into modeling on stage Paulahhh the dayss....
Leisa and S. 4 Life NM?
is it still in tact in that garage?
Thats when show cars were what made the scene, When people went out and built unique cars, I will never forget when JT would bring that to the shows.
Hell the show scene was at the top of its game back in those days

AH Yes the Lego Monster. That is when Perfected Images ruled the show scene.
We had big Players in both WILD and MILD Myself (Galant), Dion (accord), Paul (FUKUS), Ty (one of the first RB Swapped 240's), Julio (Hatch), Brian (Extreme), Brian (Mirage) many more I can't recall
When Jeff pulled that cover back at Nopi 2001 at the hotels the crowd of about 150 people all Ahhhhh'd at one time LOLZ those were the days.
He still has the car and there have been talks about calling his sponsors and possibly bringing it back.
2008 Pontiac G8 GT (Not your Daddys 4 door)
2006 CBR F4i - (Sold)
2007 Lexus IS - (Sold)
2006 MazdaSpeed 6 - (Sold)
Most recent cars list is too long
He even had the foot pedals in the floor board at one time as well. Jeff was always a real cool cat. I remember helping a couple of times when the car was over at Barnett Performance on Buford Hwy. ExVtecGirl was there and a bunch others. Back then, everyone was out to have fun and there was NO drama at meets and events. Later, QD.Originally Posted by admin

Jeff was scared later on that when some random guys offered to help him with the body work since the shoot was soon. It was storming and they had him driving down some lonely dark country roads.![]()

fun and good competition which made the scene thrive... everyone wanted to hear their name be called during those Best Of's... ya it sounds cheesy paying for self gratification through a plastic throphy, but it was more then that. It was cool back in the day when local shows had 100-300+ people there showing. Winning in front of your peers was one of the highlights of the scene
i remember weekends me and my boy Pedal would hit up 3 shows in a weekend. boy i look back now i could of probably paid cash for most of my wifes school on all of the money spent on cars + traveling etc...![]()
unforunetly because its evolved the way that it has, it really wont ever be like that anymore, which in is unfortunetly. those types of cars, show cars, is what got me into the scene. i always thought those cars were the coolest cars.

Not feeling the car at all. It looks like he worked hard on it but it's definitely not my cup-o-tea. I'd prefer something much more subtle.
I remember that car... I think I have pics of it from NOPI quite a few years back...
HAHA i hung out with JT at the Varsity meet this past time. He was up there just walking around and I ran into him. Yes he still has the car. Its in a lot of pieces. I talked to him about putting it back together and trying to bring it back out. I told him I would chip in all the free time and some money he needed help with to put it back to rolling state. I have many awesome years of rolling around in that car and staying up to all hours of the night cleaning it and making it look awesome. When his car came out there was really nothing that was running on his level.
~Actually does anyone remember when this car was green and just had the body kit and wheels on it? hahah
~I remember being at TunerFest and we were headed back to the house and him dropping the bags and slamming and dragging it across the ground in front of the show crowd.
~Lets see or what about when it feel off the trailer and it took 7 of us to pick up the back side and lift it on to the trailer.
~Or when he gave Jeff G. a block of wood to hold up his motor at the Mazda show. And Jeff G. ended up winning best of show. LOL
~Or all the PI meets up at the Junior Varsity.
Those days are long gone now. =(
wow.... i can appreciate the time/money spent on that... BUT
even when show cars were the "in thing" i never did much care for them...
there were a few out there that i liked.. but mostly not...

And I think now of days showing has reverted back to how clean can you make your car look. (If there is a show scene at all!) B/c back 6-7 years ago, there was alot of people going big. That was just the thing to do.
Thats like remembering back when people were rolling around with Tweed interiors and if you had a 10" sub box you were bad ass. And 17's where as big as they got.
I laughed just as hard at ricers then as I do now, so...
yeah.. i wasn't into the car scene then (obviously i wasn't old enough to be! lol) but i did know some others that were... even helped my sis's ex tweed his interior!!! lol....Originally Posted by T.S.
i understand there is a BIG difference in show cars and performance cars... so like i said.. i can appreciate the time/effort in them....
and from what i see there.. his mod list (as you stated) would be ridic!!
I remember seeing that car for the first time at HIN 02.
ahh the good ol days
yep... i remember this car from back in the day. i used to see it all the time in front of ultimate auto boutiques in buford. that car was definately an eye catcher. and it was def. cars like that that pulled alot of people into the import scene.
