Well like I said before, my maintenance would be of a WRX since the 9-2x is a Subaru. I will tell you one thing, I posted on here awhile back the Forbe's article with the list of problematic cars. The 9-3 was on the list. So just beware.

I would never have bought a Saab, but fortunately mine is 100% japanese and it came with the GM discount.

    Good luck!

I'd rock the hell out of a Vigen. I couldn't get them to go any lower on the price, or I probably woulda bought one.

i used to work for SAAB and all i can say is that the 9-3AERO is a blast drive...i never cared for Swedespeeds until i started working there..honestly, SAAB's are the undiscovered talent of the automotive industry/.

if u go to Jim Ellis, ask for Tony

MMmmmm 9-3 VERY NICE and Hella Fast!! Not sure how the US spec is, but i know the Euro spec kicks ass!! You could almost call it a "sleeper" if you wanted too, bc its so luxurious and classy as Krissy put it but once the foot hits the pedal its all business. Which is why it was designed for rich business men gettin from city to city, but since here in Europe the cities r so spreaded they hadd make them fast to get time, PLUS arrive in style.

Having owened several saab's, not to mention having a parent that works for them, i have driven every new saab since 1997. They have have there share of problems just like ant other car. I have had more problems with my nissan and my mazda then i did with my saab. They are nice cars, and can be made fast, but if you want to mod it aftermarket support is a little thin. If your interrested cliff let me know, i can reccomend some tunnig places.

if you can find the a Viggen, they are very hot. it was Saabs hot rod 225hp.
