Yea. Now they are starting to make it a requirement that all students learn another language. I think thats BS.

I've no problem making learning a second language a requirement for educational purposes. It's good for them and helps kids later on in life. I just don't think that the only language offered should be "Spanish". They need to make English the official language of the U.S. and make it a requirement for citizenship.

Well yea thats what I meant lol Even some jobs have requirments for you to be able to speak spanish. Which I mean is cool to an extent, but its only making people not have any intrest and/or reason to learn how to speak english.

yeah my old high school use to offer a couple diff... i think spanish and french... then they started only teaching spanish... and as you stated it was a requirement for college prep students...
