i bought a lightly used e46 in jan for my DD and have had nothing but issues since day one. it is the biggest piece of sh!t i have ever owned. (had to have new sensors, cats, o2, gas cap, etc in the first month of owning) so yesterday just driving and suddenly feel like i drove over something, but i know i didn't. battery light comes on, then car starts to run hot... pop the hood and see all of the radiator fluid just flowing out of the car. thinking it was just a belt which would of been awesome, oh no. idler pulley broke and smashed into resevoir and broke it as well. needless to say after having the car towed + fixed = 525$.

WORD OF ADVICE - I HAVE OWNED 2 BMW, 1 BENZ, 6 VW, 4 HONDA, AND 1 FORD... BMW ****ING SUCK!!! THEY HAVE LOADS OF COMFY OPTIONS AND LOOK NICE AND DRIVE NICE, BUT THEY ARE OVER PRICED POS.

I will hopefully have another real euro soon and be rid of this turd, i'm thinking VW, Audi, Benz, or Lotus are in the near future.
