I was in the Air Force back then, and I filled up my CB7 for 76 cents/gallon (on base at the AAFES gas station).

It's one thing when 80 year olds say they remember when the fattest burger you could buy, some fries and a coke was $1.25... that's expected b/c 60 years or so has passed since then. But I am only 29 years old - there is NO WAY IN H3LL I should have lived to see gas go from $.76 a gallon to what it is now. I don't even wanna know how much it will be when I am 80.
