    Yea my last time on the AT was miserable. The first night it got down to 4 degrees. All of my gear was only rated to 15 degrees. Even with an Exped downmat sleeping pad and marmot sleeping bag I still froze my ass off... Then the rats got into my pack at one of the shelters...

    Yeah, my last time up there it snowed on us, rained on us, and came a fierce wind storm on us. Miserable to say the least, but after it is all said and done you still feel so good for doing it.
