    The amendment to ban all admixed embryos was defeated by 336 votes to 176. The prohibition on true hybrids was defeated by 286 votes to 223.

    The main kinds of admixed embryo permitted by the Bill are “cytoplasmic hybrids” or “cybrids”, which are made by moving a human nucleus into an empty animal egg. These are genetically 99.9 per cent human. As well as true hybrids, it also allows chimeras that combine human and animal cells, and transgenic human embryos that include a little animal DNA.

    Sorry, but i can't tell sh*t from that rep you gave me. Sure, it's a decent looking picture, but i'm fairly certain the animation is just a step above (or below) cut animation. From all the cookie-cutter blah blah anime i've seen, its only saving grace is a good storyline that helps you not pay attention to how stiff the actual animation is.

    Again, you've got to get past the mainstream stuff. Miyazaki is good, but by no means the best. Watch "5 Centimeters Per Second", "Karas", "The Place Promised in Our Early Days", "Wonderful Days" (A Korean title), or similar films and report back.

    There's a reason why anime is Japan's third largest world export.

    The article also mentioned that "true hybrids" could be as much as 50% animal/50% human. Now that would be a very unusual creation right there. Of course the article also said that inserting this hybrid embyro in a human or animal womb is illegal and must be destroyed after 14 days of culturing.
