Think it was about 3-5 years ago. A guy from South Africa came to America, became a citizen and finished high school top of his class. He got a scholarship to an African-American school. When he went there the people in charge said he lost his eligibility because he was not an African-American because he was not black... I dunno, I guess everything in this world has a shady side... It's not white vs. black. It's ppl vs. ppl whether they are both caucasian or any other "race" I think if you were born in America, You are AMERICAN. If you become a legal citizen, then you are an AMERICAN. I don't think there should be any "hyphenated" Americans. It's one thing to still want to know your roots, but I am not a "German-American" just because my family from generations ago is from Germany...
