I got a DUI a while back and got a permit to drive to work and school. The permit is only good for 4 months, but the suspension was for 6 months, leaving 2 months w/o any kind of driving privilage. I asked the judge about it and he gave me something in writing to give the DMV telling them to reinstate my license after 4 months.
