yeah but you're not taking into account the wear and tear and depreciation on your car from the extra 200 miles a week

yes but kinda hard to calculate that... but then again depreciation may not be a factor if she is driving a beater b/c at the current rate above she would make over 2000$ more a year and that is taking into account both jobs give her the same amount of hours

UNLESS it bumps you up into the next tax bracket and you can't claim enough deductions to drop back down. At that point, you would make less after taxes even though you make more per year on the front end.

this is also true and that is why i was using 10-12$ range to explain; lots of IF's involved but for someone to come on and ask for job advice like this... i highly doubt they will factor in 1/2 the sh!t we are talking about
