Republican representative Paul Broun is trying to take Playboy away from soldiers. He is saying no porn should be sold on military posts. The 'hardcore' porn was taken away years ago, and now they want to take away everything else. Playboy has always been a very respectable magazine, and now to tell soldiers of all people they can't read it is ridiculous. And why? Cause reading it makes a soldier more likely to commit a sex crime? WRONG many studies prove that that is the exact opposite. So why does he say soldiers shouldn't be sold porn on post? Because some women wrote him complaining that an officer bought a playboy in front of her kid, and she thought it was dirty. So tell me, what will she do when the child sees a man on post drink? That's terrible, let’s take all alcohol away from the soldiers? What about if thee kid sees a car accident? No more cars! In fact, let’s just take away anything that could ever be misconstrued! And of all people to do this to he chooses the soldiers, the good men and women fighting and dying for our country. So how about this Paul, why don't you write back the nice lady and tell her if she doesn't want her child to have a wrapped edition of Playboy, with no nudity or anything on the cover, in front of her child on post, then she can shop elsewhere. Soldiers should be allowed to purchase playboy and such magazines on post. Paul, I am disgusted that you are from Georgia.
