GAINESVILLE – Agents with the Multi Agency Narcotics Squad arrested three men during the course of a drug investigation on Friday.
Lt. Scott Ware said that authorities intercepted a package that was sent through the United States Postal Service from Roma, Tx. The package was destined for an apartment in the 1800 block of Vineyard Way in Gainesville.
The package containing approximately 12 pounds of high-grade marijuana with an estimated street value of $38,400 was successfully delivered to the apartment by undercover agents.
Twenty-year-old Justin Thomas Wilson received the package. A short time later, 22-year-old Jose David Salinas Jr. and 21-year-old Daniel Hyun Park arrived at the apartment to take possession of the package.
After searching the apartment agents also found an additional quantity of marijuana, digital scales and packaging materials.
All three men were arrested without incident and booked into the Hall County Jail charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute as well as trafficking.
