    theres nothing wrong with that depending on what type of plane(engine) it is. hell my old boss has been doing that for years.

    This was a piper and his motor is pretty obvious was not able to run on the regular octane, cause that sum b*tch dropped right out of the sky, engine just quit, no sputter or nothing.....
