    I think someone out there is try to set me up.

    All jokes aside: These magazine mysteriously started coming to my house about 6 months ago. I don't even shop out of catalogues, and never sign up for things like special offers or whatever.

    once me and my coworks pranked this other cowork by signing him up for many things through the mail. we got so many free samples and magazines and packages delivered to the store that the kid would have to take an hour out of his time to decide which of the (stacked up to the ceiling) items he wanted to keep. The mailman would bring in full mail totes dedicated just to him. and it would be for the most random awkward gayist **** ever too.

    AutumnK - i think those companies strategically mail those out randomly based on the assumption of parenthood. Don't quote me on that.

    yes, you can get free samples of anything through the mail. My friends and I would spend hours every night ordering free samples and magazines typing in our store's address with the kids name on it. Condoms, lube, tampons, new father magazines, Korans, 5 lb bag of woodchips, Jesus posters, wedding magazines... so much random stuff. Entire mail totes devoted just to him when the mailman came.
