    Infant's Remains Found in SoCal Yard
    April 1, 2008, 5:41 AM PDT

    An autopsy is scheduled today on the body of an infant whose decomposed remains were found in a Santa Ana yard.

    Police sent to 1600 E. Palm St. shortly before 10 a.m. yesterday found the remains in a courtyard area separating two houses on the same property, said Santa Ana police Cpl. Jose Gonzalez.

    A dog was lying next to the body, Gonzalez said, but there was no indication that the animal had dug up the remains. Due the advanced state of decomposition, the infant's gender could not be determined.
