but fuck it... you couldve just as easily bought a car already modded or whatever for muchh cheaper right?... its all about the experience... the transformation... the customization... Trust me its worth every cent you put in... simply because you put it in.

    ***REDNECK ALERT***
I had around 13k invested in my Iroc-Z28 (yeah let me hear it) before I got hit by an illegal alien with a hit and run. Totaled my car and my insurance gave me 3k. Bought the car back for $1 though.

about 2k on mine, which isn't much. but honestly, if you look at maintenance, repairs, gas, you spend a hefty load too. for instance, about 1k+ a year for gas. oil changes every 3k miles = ~150 a year. tune ups, engine repairs. so around 5k + 2k mods, + price of the car. that money goes quick!

I we are counting the cost of the car, it will be rather jaw-dropping. Even with just wheels, tires, suspension, exhaust, diverter valves, shift knob, e-brake, I am looking at close to $20,000.

However, most "upgrades" that people do were already included in the price of my car, so I didn't have to do them. That was part of the reason that I bought what I bought; everything was included. Brakes, suspension, turbo, interior, etc. If we go that route, we are well into the 6-figures. Fuck.

Well I guess let me try and add up what I can think of off the top of my head...
    vortech v2 blower kit- $2200
    reichard 3" blower pulley- $150
steeda caster camber plates- $200 i believe
    42lb Ford motorsports injectors- $300
walbro 255lph fuel pump- think that was around $200
    MSD 6Abtm- $250 i think
    Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator- $150
    UPR 4" powerpipe- $150

Thats from this year... I'm sure I'm missing some stuff from this year on there, but thats the majority of it.

Damn, this post hurts once i go through it all. For my Swift i'm honestly around $17+. Not to sure exactly how much. I just did some quick adding in my head and its above $17k. On my EG hatch that i sold, i say around $2,500. Thats car included. I still regret riceing it out!! The civic coupe, i'd have to say around $2-3k, if that. Thats not including the car of course. All i want to do is sell that car.

If I were to have paid full price for everything I had done to the bhooger it would have been around $35K.

I only put in around $25k probably though including car cost.

Damn I dont feel so bad any more.. if you include the car I've dropped probably $55k.. If I knew then what I know now it would probably be about $10k less. No regrets though.. I took care of all the other responsibilities before I started putting money into my car (savings, house, etc)
