yep you can get them off of ebay for about $7 and then you just need a really small screw driver and if you arent too good with electronics, there are tutorials online on how to take it apart and replace it

if you get the correct battery for your iPod and do a proper charge cycle you can expect up to 20hrs or so of play time. this one is going to be hooked up to my headunit primarily so i wont have to really worry about charge.

yeah, other than over here, mine is either on a dock or plugged into my head unit also so a charge is no biggie for me either cuz I only have 2 more months here.
