By Courtney Schlisserman June 17 (Bloomberg) -- The cost of living in the US rose less than forecast in May, culminating in the biggest 12-month drop in prices in almost 60 years.

This new hole was found by an iPhone user named Orinav (no idea if i spelled that right) outside of the dev team.
Not releasing until iPhone 3.0 goes live so Apple doesn't have time to patch the hole.

MOSCOW, June 17 (Reuters) - The presidents of Russia and China on Wednesday agreed to boost the use of their national currencies, the rouble and yuan, in bilateral trade.
"It is essential...to move forward the work on the creation of favourable conditions for widening the sphere of settlement in roubles and yuan," Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Chinese President Hu Jintao said in a joint statement.
Russia, the holder of the world's third largest reserves after China and Japan, has repeatedly called for less global reliance on the U.S. dollar -- in which the bulk of the world's reserves are held and most global trade deals are made.
Moscow has said the rouble and the yuan could become global reserve units in the future, and also suggested the creating of a supranational reserve currency, possibly based on the International Monetary Fund's Special Drawing Rights.

Just after Facebook blows by MySpace to take over the number one spot in the social networking world, MySpace announces it is laying off 30 percent of its workforce. That's 420 workers being cut.
It seems Facebook's handwriting is all over MySpace's wall. MySpace has time to re-cast the site, hold its audience and possibly grow. It's difficult, though, to get in the way of momentum.
That's exactly what MySpace is trying to do since hiring former Facebook COO Owen Van Natta as its new CEO in April, replacing co-founder Chris DeWolfe as CEO. DailyFinance received a copy of the memo Van Natta sent to his MySpace employees asking for their "patience" with MySpace's workforce cuts.
