I have a wish list for my bike; new levers, quick shift, Two Bros twin pipes, figure out why my FI light is on, rear seat cowl, and eventually Marchesini wheels.

I'd skip out on the quick shift, on a street ridden bike it's not really needed. Levers are nice, but if you don't want to drop big coin you can get some from Firedragonbros2009 on ebay, they are CRG clones and EXCELLENT quality (the R1-Forum guys LOVE them) you just have to drill out the clutch pin hole slightly to use the stock bushing. Two Bro's are alright, but not necessarily my choice. Leo Vince, or Akra are a couple of my favorite. Motomummy.com is a great site if you haven't discovered it yet.

I was just thinking about that with the quick shift while I reread it. I currently have a Yoshi RS-5 slip on and hate how it looks. Found out Two Bros makes the twin can for my bike and I think either that or the Jardine RT-1 full carbon can will be my choice. I am buying my seat cowl from firedragonbros. I will have to look into those levers.

They are a hit on R1 forum. Soooo many people run them and love them. I would have went that way if I didn't get a deal on my CRG's. Twin cans look cool but is the power gains as good as an Akra or Leo?

I am going a completely different route than everyone else with my bike. Don't care for more power. Don't care for better handling. Trying to rid the bike of anything polished or silver and keep the blue and black colors. Will eventually throw a PC3 on there just to make things run smoother. I am glad to be back on two wheels; especially since the death of a friend of mine who rode all the time. I am just taking it for what its worth and just gonna ride out.

I hear ya man. I'm doing my own thing on my bike well. Making it how I like it because in the end I'm the one that has to ride it.

I went riding today since about 8am and decided that the ZX rides about the same as my old CBR, its got about the same amount of seat room, but the ZX handles much better and is balanced better.

I would probably go with a steering damper though.

GPR FTW! I'm running the stock dampner with 10w fork oil for now. Makes the stock R1 dampner feel like an Ohlins set at 1/2 way.

Kinda hard to explain it on my bike though. When I am rolling, occasionally it will want to swerve a little more than I'd like it to. The damper should take most of that out.

That's odd... I've never had that issue before. GPR is an awesome dampner if you have the money to fork out.

The sun was shining on the sea,
    Shining with all his might:
He did his very best to make
    The billows smooth and bright--
And this was odd, because it was
    The middle of the night.

    The moon was shining sulkily,
    Because she thought the sun
Had got no business to be there
    After the day was done--
"It's very rude of him," she said,
"To come and spoil the fun!"

The sea was wet as wet could be,
The sands were dry as dry.
You could not see a cloud, because
No cloud was in the sky:
    No birds were flying overhead--
There were no birds to fly.

    The Walrus and the Carpenter
    Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
    Such quantities of sand:
"If this were only cleared away,"
They said, "it would be grand!"

"If seven maids with seven mops
Swept it for half a year.
Do you suppose," the Walrus said,
"That they could get it clear?"
"I doubt it," said the Carpenter,
    And shed a bitter tear.

"O Oysters, come and walk with us!"
    The Walrus did beseech.
"A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk,
    Along the briny beach:
We cannot do with more than four,
To give a hand to each."

The eldest Oyster looked at him,
But never a word he said:
The eldest Oyster winked his eye,
    And shook his heavy head--
Meaning to say he did not choose
    To leave the oyster-bed.

But four young Oysters hurried up,
    All eager for the treat:
Their coats were brushed, their faces washed,
Their shoes were clean and neat--
And this was odd, because, you know,
    They hadn't any feet.

    Four other Oysters followed them,
    And yet another four;
And thick and fast they came at last,
And more, and more, and more--
All hopping through the frothy waves,
    And scrambling to the shore.

    The Walrus and the Carpenter
Walked on a mile or so,
And then they rested on a rock
    Conveniently low:
And all the little Oysters stood
    And waited in a row.

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
    "To talk of many things:
    Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
    Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
    And whether pigs have wings."

"But wait a bit," the Oysters cried,
    "Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!"
    "No hurry!" said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.

"A loaf of bread," the Walrus said,
    "Is what we chiefly need:
    Pepper and vinegar besides
    Are very good indeed--
Now if you're ready, Oysters dear,
    We can begin to feed."

"But not on us!" the Oysters cried,
    Turning a little blue.
"After such kindness, that would be
    A dismal thing to do!"
"The night is fine," the Walrus said.
    "Do you admire the view?

"It was so kind of you to come!
    And you are very nice!"
    The Carpenter said nothing but
    "Cut us another slice:
I wish you were not quite so deaf--
I've had to ask you twice!"

"It seems a shame," the Walrus said,
"To play them such a trick,
After we've brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!"
    The Carpenter said nothing but
    "The butter's spread too thick!"

"I weep for you," the Walrus said:
    "I deeply sympathize."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
    Those of the largest size,
    Holding his pocket-handkerchief
    Before his streaming eyes.

    "O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
    "You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
    But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
    They'd eaten every one.

My father's birthday in on May the 10th...

I'm going to see Fleet Foxes on May the 10th...

I'm up for a new phone on May 1st... if sprint will come out with something I like better than my Evo.

I have a 7-9 page paper due tomorrow that I didn't know about.... I'm 900 words in so far. Wish me luck.

Better you than me. Although, hopefully I will be doing the same starting April so I can get my Associates degree.
