yes, if someone was inside and passed out then what?? by fueling the fire with oxygen he helped it spread faster and burn alot hotter. and lets say he did by some chance he heard someone in there crying for help. was he willing to run in there and find the person. a burning building is nothing like what you see in the movies especially one like that. you wouldnt be able to see more than 2 feet in front of you IF you were that lucky. not to mention the smoke that is hot would prob be hot enough to possibly melt your lungs along with the disorientation that would go along with this. even firefighters dont just run into a building they either do a right hand search or a left hand search and they go in with another firefighter. they also have an SCBA which actually provides cool air even in a building on fire, along with a fire retardant suit. not too mention the all to important training.Originally Posted by mastakey05
