    Default MY CAR WON KOTS!!!

    Just heard yesterday that my car won 5.0 magazine's King of the Street competition. The actual event was back in October but we just found out when the magazine came out yesterday. Don't actually get anything for it, but its still pretty cool. I'll post up a scan of the magazine later...

    Thanks man. Here's the article.... scoring is described but its a mix of drag, dyno, show, street, fit/finish, and engineering. Car did very well in everything but drag (900rwhp, road racing suspension, and dr's on 18's don't do that well...). Anyway yeah here's part of the article.

    Thanks guys. I finally got a magazine today so I could read the whole article. Some of the stuff they point out about the cars is pretty funny. That and they mention they brought a dyno that didn't read high enough so we had to turn my car down some... All in all very pleased and definitely went and played with my car some today just to top it all off.

    Yeah I was. I actually keep the car in Norcross. Oh and its actually Mingledorff... and the car made 951rwhp up there not 932.

    your car was sitting outside Beta House @ GT last night....I'm assuming your the one that drives the new Saleen?

    a buddy of mine that has a stock C5 Zo6 was like "I'd out run it" and I simply laughed and said "its 1000hp, no you won't" lol

    Yep I am. The Saleen is my dad's car but I still drive it a good bit. Pretty funny about your buddy though... actually why I like the way it looks so much is no one knows till its too late.

    Oh ok cool man was supposed to go but had some friends come by so we just stayed at the house and drank there. As for the car...when I'm not at school yeah. I only bring it to Tech sometimes and generally only for one night or just the day. Actually put over 5000 miles on it since I got it back in October. Generally at school I have a Chevy truck though. That way if someone bumps me I don't care.
