lol, so many dumb people on here that would buy a house or a nice car, lol
I'd take a month off, even two, and then I'll get in touch with a financial firm. I'll make further decisions from there.

I'll just mension that whatever you do with the money, if you have a mortgage you could save (hell, even make) money because of the way you do your taxes.Originally Posted by quickdodge®
my supervisor has a house that costs half mil. He has the money cash to pay it off right away, but he doesn't. By claiming that house mortgage on his taxes, he's got more tax exempt money on whatever he earns then what he pays for his interest for the house .... lol, or in other words he's making money because of that.
another guy that works for our company use to lease cars rather than buying those for the very same reason
but I guess some of you are just not old enough to realise how some things work in this country. Sorry that I called you dumb - I should probably say something else![]()
I'm actually older than you are. By quite a bit. So your first assumption bit you right in your vagina.Originally Posted by miro_gt
Apology accepted. And what you should have called me was Father. Yes. It is I that quit paying your child support. I wanted a son and you came instead. You have no idea what you're talking about for one main reason.....you're judging everyone's situation when you know nothing about their situation. I didn't see anyone in here talking about 1/2 million dollar homes. Myself, if I didn't just get a house, I'd pick up a modest $125K house, PAY IT OFF and be straight. I know a bit more than you might think I do. Of course you were able to judge my knowledge based on a few posts on an Internet forum, weren't you? Later, QD.
the moment you drop those 125K for a house, you'd already made a dumb mistake.Originally Posted by quickdodge®

Again with the poor response choice. How did you get to know so much about me and my dealings and life? Did you review every post I've ever made on here? Not really sure you're of the level where you can make an opinionated (definitely not factual) remark about decisions I've made or will make.Originally Posted by miro_gt
Fight? I'm not fighting? I'm simply stating that you're making uneducated posts about what I do with my money. Unless you're my Financial advisor or CPA (and I'm pretty sure you aren't), then I'll stick to my "dumb mistake."Originally Posted by miro_gt

I'd have to disagree with this statement. There's always gonna be someone out there who don't wanna enjoy the finer luxuries of life but enjoy every moment on this earth with their loved ones. To talk about $125K for a house is a dumb mistake is simply a foolish answer. I say to anyone who spends over $500K and don't have a family or multiple people staying with them is foolish. I chose to live in a $125K house but that don't mean that just because it don't appeal to you means that it won't appeal to anyone else. Since you're making silly statements saying what your boss' house look like and every body else you know of, what does yours look like?Originally Posted by miro_gt
K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.
my statement was from a financial point of view. Did you try to understand what I was saying in my other post ? If you want to drop those money for a house - that's fine. However, that's not the smartest thing to do with 125K cash, lol. Not to start talking about a whole mil cashOriginally Posted by blackshine007

here's another example: the current mortgage rates are at about 5.5% or so. At the same time you could lend those money for well above 5.5%, lol. But then, you go ahead and pay for the house![]()
anyways, everybody is free to chose whatever he/she wants to do with their money, right![]()
