It's entirely possible that you and I share the same propensity for abrasive humor, without taking the time to consider whether the people against which we are excercising said humor are familiar with it's caustic tendencies.

So, if that's the case, then we can say that both of us have been the pinnacle of civility up to this point, even if it means we keep treating each other like crap.
