and yes, they are worthless if they arent GTRs.
once you get off the phone with BS why don't you call Nissan and ask them about the skyline?Originally Posted by redGT
It's a GTS-t , they started production in'93 for the R33 GTS's but made the R32 GTr until '94 with the V-Spec II. It has a RB25 in it, the vin plate shown is not on the car, it is a "State" legal car, not a Motorex car. It is "Legal" depending on how "grey" your interpratation of the law is. GPN is an idiot for trying to sell it, b/c if someone wrecks it they will be sued for selling a non federal car. The whole car has been repainted
the previous owner traded it in for a orange 350Z...the new uglyass orange sherbert color.![]()
that ****s so gay.Originally Posted by CH@Dbee

Is that it?
LOL, that's it.
if you read entire post we've established cars were started production aug 93 for 95 model year.Originally Posted by nsany(atl)
My question was will USA gov let you title car under that possible 93 production year.
+ did japan have obdi obdii or was that just a usa thing?
R33 GTS's were built in 93 and 94. The car would be titled here as the year it was built. The R32 GTR was the GTR for years 93 and 94 the R33 GTR started in 95.
Titling the car is not a problem in a red neck state like this. I could go down to the tag office with a matchbox car and get title. It's getting legal on the federal level that is not going to happen, it's the emissions (passing local is not like federal) and crash test stuff thats the problem.
That car is more than likely not legal. I don't know anyone who federalized a GTS or GTS-T.
Japan doesn't have OBD at all, that is the problem with legalizing these cars. They made the law to were the Skylines have to be 96+ to be imported. This is so they would be required to have OBD_II, which isn't going to happen any time soon.

It appears you are right about the r33 gts models being made in 93 and 94! I guess because i thought the gtr was a 95 i assumed entire line was.Originally Posted by fivex684
