    Default My close encounter with a Ferrari ricer at Lenox earlier today.

    I know this topic has prolly been hit numerous times but it never fails to amaze me how people can be so stupid even when they have a lot of money.

    I was at Lenox earlier and a Yellow Ferrari F430 was coming through the intersection with like 100 cameras. As traffic started to move he began to rev the car followed by the.....

    *slam on the gas > slam on the brake > slam on gas > slam on brake routine*

    It looked like a wanna be rapper was driving it but i just thought to myself, poor Ferrari to be driven by this guy. All that money and the best you could do was make yourself look like a moron.

    he probably couldn't get the body to hop like his 86 cutlass would... I heard he was trying to reverse engineer the suspension to ghettofy it

    did you get the vin so i know not to ever buy THAT f430 even if it is a GOOD deal.

    Eh, Ferraris look and sound good, but they leave a lot to be desired when driven (at least for me). Both the F355 and the 360 Modena were "eh" at best. I have yet to drive an F430, though, so perhaps it is a step up.

    I've driven a F360 and a F550 maranello...both felt "cheap" to me..just not comfortable like a porsche. But thats just me...

    My neighbor has a big car collection and I've driven his 01 GT2, those 2 ferrari's his gallardo etc...I liked the GT2 best, but the gallardo got the most looks...Ferrari's personally had the best sound..but I like the high pitched sound.

    personally best bang for the buck would be the porsche...the gallardo and F355 don't deliver and the F550 though EASY AS HELL to drive..still lacks in performance.

    I'm looking really hard at Corvette's and 911's here of late...vette=power, 911=handling/sexiness...oh well

    I saw a yellow Ferrari today also. It wasn't the one you described though. I also saw a red Murcielago and a black F430, both near Lenox.
