OK, y does everyone give people hard times who want to get their rep count up for a specific reason.

Because this site has always been for members to actively participate on. For free. The FOR SALE , which is a free system, is for member who contribute to the site as members. Not just so people can use it to make money. IA has been this way since the beginning. And I strongly agree with this outlook and always have. If you want to make money and not give a damn about IA, then go to Ebay, or if you have to be cheap and do it for free, there's Craigslist.

And as far as whether or not people can afford that car? There are people on here that make more money than you think.

I agree with everything you just said. It does make perfect sense to have the members who are active list stuff for free but it's not like he just joined the forum to post his car for sale. If he has flamed on you in the past, by all means neg him. But people who come in here and jump on the bandwagon are simply retarded. I wasn't trying to offend anyone with my comment about not being able to afford his car. Just an observation that many people here are students who don't have time to work and pay for a nice car.

i agree. I think IA's is a place to make friends, talk cars, have a few laughs and jus hangout. dont get me wrong buying and selling is also great, but i dont think it is the only purpose of the site.
