he drove his Mr2 last night for the first time...the alternator's bad. he got to starbucks and the thing died..I had to follow him home and jump the car off twice. lol it's definitely got potential but someone wants the MR2 for a white/red race ready e36 325i.

Yeah but technically theres werent childern.... They were all over 18 i THINK.

For ex. What if you would have wrecked you car when you ran Ivan.... Would It be you fault or your parents?? Who cares if your parents bought you a fast car, YOU have to drive it responsibly.

in my other post i said "could" be blamed, i was just trying to make some sense out of it. i agree that it is the drivers fault but if the parents know that the person and/or child can not handle the power and would abuse it(which would end up in them hurting themself or others). then thats the only way i could see the parents getting the blame.

there are points to that, but these were 5 stupid KIDS on an air strip with probably no experience of high speed driving and also, they knew they were on an air strip....it ENDS. how did they not know it was gonna end? some other substance was involved. when WE do our thing we are clear headed.

The parents shouldn't have bought an 18 year old a 500hp car without first providing their child with the proper training to handle such a car but at the same time it could be argued that such an accident could have still occured in a 100hp Honda Civic.


What it all comes down to is teaching your child how to handle his or her car responsibly and not allowing said child to drive if they have not shown the maturity that should be exhibited by someone that is ready to operate a motor vehicle....
