    He's right! I'm like you...if I find something I want, I have no patience & will do whatever I have to do (LEGALLY) to get it. But if you 2 are really in love, then wait! There's no point in rushing. And if you can't/won't be happy with a ring that he can afford, even if it's just temporary, then no matter what you say, you're not truly in love with him.
