    Default got a speeding ticket , need help!

    ok so i had just got done fighting my girlfriends brother...im going back home , and get pulled over

    officer looks at my hand , my face and says who did you get in a fight with i said no one...

    so he calls me outside talks to me , i told him the story he filed an injury report, i get back in my car

    he comes to get my friend out of the car...and i ask him why am i being pulled over he says ill get to that in a little bit

    so he tells me im doing 80 in a 45, when i damn sure KNOW i wasnt , there was other cars around me , i was moving with them...there was even 2 cars in front of me that were blocking both lanes...the officer even mentioned this, hes like "oh if they would have moved , then you would have sped through"

    then on TOP of that he asks me "have you ever gone fishing?" i say yes "you cant catch all the fish can you?"

    wtf is that?

    i know i was not speeding , for all i know he is eyeballing that i was going 80...i was moving WITH traffic , 2 cars in front of me blocking both lanes...and it was a construction zone so im double ****ed..

    i need some advice on what to do...

    oh he told me to get a slower car too...wtf

    All you can do is get a Lawyer and just hope he can get the ticket reduced. HOPE YOU DON'T HAVE A LOT OF POINTS ALREADY

    I know how to beat a speeding ticket. Ive done it before when people told me to get a lawyer. PM me and we can talk if you are seriously interested. I was looking at a 500 dollar+ fine and 8 points on my license. I got my case dismissed.

    Well if this is the whole story in full detail. Then i'm to assume that he didn't ask you about the recalibration test, that is if he wasn't a State Trooper and if they have changed the laws on that. What it looks like to me is his word against yours, true the judge may side with the officer if you have a known record of reckless driving, but you may have a chance. Just see if you can get a free consultation from a lawyer for a better or worst answer.

    I got a speeding ticket. State Trooper estimated my speed and said I was doing 100 in a 65. This was on 85North.. He didnt take me down with a laser or radar none of that crap.. Just estimated it..

    HOW THE PHUCK DO I GET OUT OF THIS OR KEEP MY LICENSE...

    OO if he just eyeballed you and there's no definite proof of use or radar or laser, he's done. I got away with mine. The officer did the same thing. I knew I was going only 10 over the speed limit ya i admit but he blew it out of proportion saying I was going 25 over. WEnt to court told the judge what happened he just laughed and dismissed it. BUT if you dont have an awesome judge like me then Im not sure whats gonna happen.

    that's bad, man. u should ask him to show u the radar if he clock u on the laser gun. If he only SEE u r driving and THINK u r speeding, u can beat it in the court coz he got no proof. Sorry to hear that, tho. What county were it happened?

    damn......benefit.

    if he had used a laser/radar, he should've told you. they always gave me the: "using laser/radar i tracked you at blah-mph. the laser/radar was been calibrated, would you like me to re-calibrate it to ensure accuracy?" whenever i got speeding tickets i'd hear that at some point in the conversation(mostly beginning), so i'd send 'em to recalibrate...

    but i always fugged up my getaway by exhaling smoke into the faces of cobb county officers, simply 'cause i never got outta cobb(or very far into it) w/o getting pulled over, and hearing these stupid statements:

    "your car fits the descript. of...." or "come here often?" and "we've got a call of....and you fit the...."


    anyway, if he doesnt arrive in court "eyeballing" your speed may be dismissed. inform the judge, that the officer never mentioned using any detection devices to clock your speed, and you may walk.

    but keep some astroglide in your back pocket just in case.....
