yeah at my last apartments we had problems like that, and they always tried to slap us with bills for no reason... up to $1000 and of course we confronted them and they were like oh, sorry....

then both of my roommates cars got broken into, so we walked up to the lady (while she was showing a prospective tenant an apartment) and told her all about our cars, and the bad condition of the place... shut them up quick, and needless to say we didnt have anything to pay for when we left
