    No. The point was being made on how many illegals are from Mexico (the numbers being a 'big deal' or not).

    Here, look for yourself:

    What do the other neighboring countries have to do with the count of Illegal Mexicans? It is still "only" 57% from Mexico. The others could be as far as Argentina as far as I am concerned....which is "not" a neighboring country of Mexico....

    Except that 23% is from the neighboring countries, so essentially 80% come from the central america region, with Mexico comprising the vast majority of that area.

    23% is from Central and SOUTH (Latin) America, not necessarily all neighboring countries. (Colombia, Brazil, etc are not neighboring countries of Mexico). There are also about 7 other countries in Central America.

    But yes, there are about twice as many Mexicans than there are immigrants from other latin and central american countries (as per the breakdown).

    Oh wel.. back on topic i guess.....
